Welcome to the Bluebell, a restored 1920's Norwegian railway carriage providing extremely comfortable holiday accommodation in a lovely setting, overlooking a wildflower meadow and woods.

Luxuriously appointed, the Bluebell features two bedrooms, both with en suites,  sitting room, a fully equipped kitchen/diner, and a private platform for sitting out on and taking in the beauty of your surroundings.


The Bluebell is exclusively yours for up to 4 persons, with a 3 night minimum stay. Towels and bedding are of course provided.

The original features have been kept, so brush up on your Norwegian to understand the signs. There are good example above the doors in these two pics.

A long way from the fjords.

We don't know how or why the Bluebell came to her retirement here at Hole Station, but we think she couldn't be in a better place, she is cared for and appreciated by ourselves and her guests.


A grand old lady indeed, approaching her century.
